w2 heads
im trying to decide on what kinda heads i should run on a 360, i was thinking about w2 aluminum heads, and im going to be doing all the machining myself so not cost on that, but how big of valves could i put in them after machining if i had to? anybody know anything on these heads?

2.055 x 1.60 The W-2's have special intake rockers that move the push rod over for more clearance for the intake ports. There is no "pushrod bulge" like in the stock heads. A specific intake that matches the heads must be used. They really scream though. Still one of the best flowing small block heads you can get. [even though they were developed in the '70s.] 'Course ya gotta use the associated valve train with them also. Think they got a different header bolt pattern too. {not 100% sure}. |
