1969 Dodge Charger

I have a 69 charger body I need several parts including drive train. My question is what would be the best donor car to look for to help with the build? I have looked at a couple 67 new Yorkers with the 440 but I don't have the mopar knowledge.

Other than engine and transmission, there is very little else out of a New Yorker that will do you any good. Where are you? What engine / trans you looking for? You can find 440 / torqueflites out of these light motor homes, the 'van nosed ones. The bigger class A motorhomes may have problems. They may be a heavy truck version of the engine, and have transmissions which at the very least require a long shaft conversion, which is more cost and trouble.

Welcome. I think it could be a good donor, the '67 engine has the better intake port with good valve size. Here is an info chart which will show the axle is a couple inches wider that can be made up with proper wheel offset and the wider spring perches can easily be moved. The rest of the car could be sold.
