318 LA from Brazil.
 

Hello everybody. I'm a MOPAR fan since childhood and I am in the process of preparing my engine 318. Unfortunately here in Brazil we have very little experience in V8 engines, and parts are usually imported from the USA and are very expensive for us. I want to make my engine alone and wanted some tips on how to work planning. I already have some knowledge of mechanics, DIY books, space and tools. What I really miss is how to design the engine. Can you help?

Basic Plan: 318 LA, Tunnel Ram, connecting rods and forged pistons, two Holley or Demon 450 cfm, we have alcohol available, etc.. I need to plan how this will all work well together.

What is this motor going to be used for? Daily driving? Drag racing? A little of everything? What vehicle is this motor going to be put into? Answers to these questions will help us to figure out what you should be looking for.

Do not put a tunnel Ram on a 318. Better results will be had with a nice 4bbl manifold As asked What is the motor going to be used for ??
