Mopar Forums - 318 Poly Head Gaskets

Are the head gaskets different between a 1965 318 LA vs. 318 Poly ? NAPA keeps giving me Head gaskets that when I drop in the top row
of push rods they hit the gasket, just barely missing the hole so I have to do some modification. Could this be why the motor is still
getting water in the oil? I was just curious and this time when I order gaskets I'm telling 'em it's for A Poly.
ARE there specific Head Gaskets for A Poly application ? This will be the 3rd time I've done the head gaskets on this motor and I'm
hoping it's because of the Gaskets and not A cracked Block.
