392 hemi question

392 hemi question

Will a 1957 393 hemi fit in a 1967 coronet 500 without to many problems

It's been done.............in A bodies. It probably won't be cheap.

but the early hemis are VERY HEAVY. in the range of 800 lbs. some 200-300 more that a 440. i think. the 59 ply wagon i put one in handled like a pig. and on the early hemis of you dont go to a blower you dont have any more power than a 440. but they DO LOOK COOL. in 1955 the chrysler 300 swep nascar that year. to the point some record books list ONLY the 300 for that year. and was the 331 hemi. the first american car to make an honest 300 HP.
