I have a 1966 dodge coronet 500 with a built 470 stroker i only have the factory temp gage and the car runs when driving at about 1/4 inch for the top of the ok range when sitting in traffic it goes to right at top of the ok i think this is running hot it has an original looking radiator with shroud and factory fan . what should a good temp be i have an inferred temp gage to check it

 

Put a real gage on it.....

 

My favorite car. does it have the 26" radiator, fan shroud, what is the compression ??? .
