boost and cam question

Hey all
I want to put a vortech on my 360 magnum.
My use is
street with visiting the strip 4 to 5 times a year.
it does 13.3 quarter mile now but want to get into the high 11s
I want to ad boost to my current build but I am running a comp cam
http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/cca-20-746-9
Mine was ground with 110 lobe centres for a carby application.
I was going to just ad boost but now I have been reading up it looks like my cam will be no good as boost needs 114 lobe centres.
Does this sound correct?
Is there a better cam I can run for boost but my lift would have to stay under .550 I think as I put a .509 lift cam in and I am kissing the pistons with the valves.

Some good info here.

My thoughts are sure it's not the perfect cam but you already have money into this, your not going for the land speed record, boost will be medium range and the whole engine is not built for supercharging so where do you stop.

I say HELLS YA! just be sure to control your total timing and have fun.

Don't forget, boost and nitrous is addicting, just a little more, a little more......
