Fuel in a Jug Question?

Hello,

Right now I'm running my charger with a gas jug due to tank bein off and wanted to know if I could add fuel cleaner to the gas jug? Would it hurt the carb?

RacerHog Nov 18, 2014 02:31 PM

I don't think so.... Just use the rite mix..

Robert Weaver Nov 18, 2014 02:34 PM

Any preference on cleaner?

are you saying you have a loose jar rattling around with gasoline in it? hope not. or do you have death wish? maybe you need professorial help.

Robert Weaver Nov 18, 2014 06:14 PM

Ha ha ha, no I've got a gas jug on the ground with a hose goin to the pump. Not rattlin around.

yep you are on top of it. you DO have a fire extinguisher dont you? i think in Kansas has a reg that at the gas station the gas can must be on the ground to fill it up. no explanation needed.

Thanks again for the help. Just out of curiosity, what would a used Poly 318 motor thats been Top End Rebuilt go for?

RacerHog Nov 18, 2014 07:11 PM

I wouldn't bother... I would just move straight over to an LA Long block...

Robert Weaver Nov 18, 2014 08:52 PM

K, which size engines will fit the 74 b bodies? Any Small/long block?

RacerHog Nov 19, 2014 08:28 PM

Any of the 70's 318 will fit.... Better if you get it complete... That way you have most all you need...

Here are a few places to look....
