Hard start when hot

I have a 360 with a mild cam, Edelbrock 750 on a Weiand intake. After running the intake gets so hot it is vaporizing the fuel in the runners and carb. I have a heat spacer already, but it is bad. When I stop, if I take the aircleaner cover off it looks like fog coming out of the carb.

Are you sure the cooling system is in good order?
also check and make sure the engine timing is set correct.

Also check to make sure your not over fueling or flooding everything.

What are you using for fuel, e10, e15 or regular unleaded? Fuel evaporation is a problem with the Edelbrock carbs especially when alcohol fuels are used, the alcohol evaporates faster and at a lower temp than gas.

OK, after reading a bunch of posts on this issue, I bit the bullet and pulled the intake off, blocked the exhaust crossover, and sealed everything really well. I went back to the 600cfm carb, set the timing at 21/36 and some fresh non-ethanol gas. Things are looking up. I suspected I had a vacuum leak at an intake port, thus causing a rough idle and erratic vacuum. It turned out so. The vacuum is much better at 15 and fairly stable for a mild cam. And the hard start issue is much better.
