headers

I have to get some headers and am wondering what ones are best. I have a 1972 Plymouth Duster with a 5.9l 360 magnum crate engine. What's your favorite ones? It will be a driver.

Check out TTI and Schumacher, high quality and specialize in engine swap headers. For stock engine/chassis I prefer Hooker Super Comps.

How low do hookers hang. Would there be a nice performance boost because my current header is flattened. I'm unsure of what they were.

I used Headman headers on my 1972 Duster same engine and had no issues at all. And they have a Lifetime warranty for defects. The best part is they don't have a flange gasket. They use a ball type flange and were very reasonably priced...Bill

TTI's are pricey, high up out of the way, heavy flanges, well built, and probably the best street header available.

At least that's how I feel about the set I bought.

Headers for 69 GTX 440 4-Spd

I'm at that point in the resto where I can start putting the car together. Looking for options for headers. I've been on the TTi website, it seems like anything you buy, will need modification for one reason or another. Am I reading it wrong or is that the gist of it?
