Intake manifold 4 bbl 318??
Does anyone know if there is a intake manifold 4 bbl to 318 from 1961 or is there only 2 bbl?
grateful for the prompt reply .. Obviously grateful for all the answers :). |
There are 4bbl manifolds for the 318 wide block They seem to be scarce

I have noticed this. Have found the 318 "small block" from 1966 onwards, but it does not fit my engine. I have also thought about maybe buy adapter plates that can be populated with 4 bbl to 2 bbl manifold and vice versa. But do not know how well it works. I was going to buy me a Edelbrock 600 with manual choke for my Dodge Pioneer. |

That's what you were asking and that's what it fits. A poly 318 is a poly 318.

As far as a used Poly block intake manifold, it seems that a 2 x 4bbl manifold is easier to find than a single 4bbl manifold....

2x4 or complete with 4 barrel on a 7503

I have sent mail to various companies that sell old parts to see if they can take home or have a 7503. But most are currently in the Power Big Meet in Västerås (Sweden) and not me ..
If they can not take home the part, I have thoughts on a Holley 500 with 2 bbl. Just buy an adapter plate to fit my intake. Do not really know which one is best, Holley 2-bbl 500 cfm or Edelbrock 600cfm (4 bbl). |
