Intake manifold screw-up

I don't know exactly I what was thinking other than trying to remove the corrosion from Old Red's intake. I brought the manifold to a local machine shop and had it shot-peened clean. (I'm already kicking myself for even thinking of this to begin with.) Unfortunately their cleaning process after the peening was non-existent and now I'm wondering how to ensure I've gotten all the steel shot out of the inner passages. I've blown the manifold out with air a number of times, flushed it out with water, then used compressed air again to dry it and hopefully remove whatever may be left inside.
Considering the damage possible if even one little steel bead gets into the engine I'm being as paranoid about this as I can be. Anyone got any other tips for bailing me out of this screw-up?

Keep blowing it out. Thats about it.

In addition to blowing it out, use a plastic mallet and tap all around the manifold to loosen up any lodged in pieces.

You aren't the first person to do this. It will be fine..

I would grab some over-sized boiler brushes and run the passages. They'll come out.

You guys may be relieved to know )as I was) that I finally got all the crap out of the intake. As proof, I started the engine and it's been running for some time with no intake problems. Thanks for the advice!
