intake valley pan
hello everyone. sick of all the rain up here in illinois.
took the car out yesterday, running very poorly at idle. ok while cruising and on eway. died a few times even when warmed up. looked at the valley pan and there was quite a pit of leakage on it, so im guessing the intake leak was probably the culprit, or the carb is just at the end of its days.
anyways. i was wondering, whats the best way to seal the new intake valley pan? i know it comes with the black rv sealant.
any suggestions??
thanks

re: archer
i dont think so, put them on a few weeks ago no leaks and such.
its almost like a dryed up gas mix in the pan, but def a little oil too i believe.
the only other thing i could think is would the regulator do that? because i notice, in idle when it bogs down and wants to die out the headlights dim and such with the struggling motor.
any ideas?
