new pistons to raise compression

77 440 bored .040 over. Current pistons sit about .120 in the hole. What pistons could I get that would raise my compression to 9.5-10:1? I already tried 440 source but they said their pistons wont work with my connecting rods due to pin size. Ive heard the trw pistons but I want to be sure. Thanks in advance

does that a 1968 440 piston wont work? i am not real up on those details of a 440. my dad had 1965 300 L 413 that was stock with 10.1 CR when he was rebuilding. he found out the 1971-1972 motor home had a 413 with 7.5 CR. the motor home pistons was the same weight and bolted right in. but the rings was not cheap. the engine run very good, seamed to have as much or more power some times a little research helps a lot.
