Pushrod Help
Hei I'm in need of some knowledge I purchased a 69 GTX In parts with a 440 trying to reassemble.
I pulled the valve covers and pan and found the pushrods laying inside everything is been and tight but my pushrods are to short my question is does the 440 use a pushrod keeper or spacer down to the tappets and crankshaft? Thanks any help appreciated |
Depends of weather the engine is all stock or modified?
If it is a standard Push Rod>>>> 9.315 Lenght 5/16" Shaft size |
I believe they are the right ones I will measure but no spacer or keeper at the tappet they connect between lifter and tappet within rod indentation on both?

No spacer on a stock valve train and stamped, non-adjustable rockers. Archer |
Ball and Ball Push Rod... Dose the push rod look Similar like this?
