Stock 360 freshen up

Hey guys,

I have a stock 74 2bbl 360 which I am giving a little tickle.
I have added a 4bbl and extractors plus new electrics.
I wanted to give it a freshen up in the lifter/pushrod department.
Can anyone suggest a good option for stock internals?
Hydraulic or solid lifters?
Oiling or non oiling pushrods?

Cheers.

Welcome.

Can you give us an idea of performance level wanted and are you planning on bore/hone piston change?

If it's a cylinder head freshen up with camshaft upgrade then there will be limits.

Dan.

Thanks for the reply, mate.
for the moment I want to keep stock cam and heads.
Pretty much just a stock replacement.
Any recommendations as to what brand (comp Cams/Lunati) and or pushrod length etc?

Nice car. What is your goal with this motor? If it was just gonna be something to be a weekend car I would look into hydraulic flat tappet or send some more money and go for hydraulic roller.

Thanks @camaro440

I think I'm going to go Crane Hydraulic lifters and a new set of Crane oiling pushrods just for a freshen up.

Yep. Just a weekend car. A/C, power steering and all its factory options.
A comfortable cruiser.

What's the condition of the engine? Ex, how many miles, how hard was it ran, how long have you owned it, etc.
