trying to find the fuel filler to tank gasket

i am trying to find the rubber gasket that seal around the fuel filler to the tank. i filled my gas tank for the first time yesterday and found out that it leaks from that gasket.

okay car make model would help. The one im thinking of is rubber goes into the tank and seals around the filler neck. Royal pain to replace on some cars. They are available.

Yeah that may help some. lol it's a 67 plymouth valiant. yes it's the one that seal the filler tube to the tank. i ordered one that is for a ford hopefully it's the same size if not i will have to keep looking around.

I have one for a 68 Dodge Dart that should work. I got it from Year One.

Mike for right now here is the part number for it. Call Year One and see if they still sell it. I don't want to part with mine right now cause I may need to use it. Here is a picture of it also. 67-69 A Body Fuel Filler Neck Seal. DCS A0709.

that's ok will have to check with them. i was able to fix that one. the one i am looking for is the one that seals the tank to the filler tube. found a complete set on line for about $64.00 now i f i can just remember where i saw it at. lol

does anyone know what the size of the hole in the tank for the fuel filler is? i'm getting ready to drop the tank in mine to replace the leaky grommet. but don't want to drop it then find out the one i have is too big or too small.
