What cam should I get? (1979 360ci motor)

Hi I'm new here. My 1979 New Yorker needs a new cam very badly. I understand that it's not a performance engine at its modest 145-150 horsepower. But I would like to put in a slightly cooler cam in this time than the factory one. (I have no cat or mufflers, so I want it to sound good.)

I found two cam kits on Summit racing that I'm interested in. Has anybody used one of these? What do you recommend for my situation?

Thank you!!

Welcome. I like the lift but would go with a little less duration, intake increase would be good, look for any 340/360 cast iron manifold, cheap and very good.

Here is a good article to help:

the 268s have always struck me as a great compromise between mild and wild.
