1975 dart swinger transmission.

I have a 1975 dart swinger special build with a 360 bored out to a 408 with a 4in stroker kit, mutha thumper cam kit and a 0 deck head running with flat piston and my compression it sitting at 11.3 to 1. Its running completely N/A, What would be the best transmission to run behind my built 360?

I’d use a 999, it’s a 904 with a lower first gear. I don’t know how much highway driving you are planning on and what gear you’re using but the OD Version of the 904 might be a better option. You could use the 727 but the 904 can be built to handle the power you have plus and the 727 has more parasitic power loss…

Cope Transmission… 727 or 904

Bob I’m not sure that Cope builds complete transmissions anymore, I think they just sell all the parts needed to build a killer trans. I posted a video a couple years ago about how the 727 episodes and in the video they said they would not build a 727 but they had the parts to keep it together.
