How do I know if I have the right dip stick for my 727 transmission? Also once converter is full how much fluid should be in the pan?

 

If the tube mount aligns with the bell housing bolt hole it is correct. A 904 tube is different, The dip stick should protrude about 3/4" from the end when seated in the tube. ANY time the tube is removed the O ring should be replaced..
