727 dipstick help!

I have a 1977 d200 crew cab. 440 with 727 and it didn't have a dipstick. I can't seem to find one or find info on one. Any suggestions on what to buy or length so I can just buy one?

Appreciate the help! Unfortunately that's not an uncommon name... I need a little more help with which one you mean.

Thanks!

google the length of the dipstick and autozone (everyone else, too, likely) sells an adjustable dipstick for like ten bucks... it's on the aisle with the crap tuner air filters and other chrome garbage. :D
