Just finished reassembling my a904 that I rebuilt using a TCI master kit. All seems to have gone well but when I begin to tighten the front pump in it locks up the input shaft and I can't turn the transmission . The gear train moves fine with the pump out or unbolted in place but as soon as I start trying to tighten it up to 175in lbs it freezes the tranny.

Does anyone have any knowledge or guidance?

What is probably happening is that the clutch packs are not seated completely so there is no clearance
