gear ratio calculation

I have always determined approx. rear gear ratio by comparing # of driveshaft rotations to 1 wheel rotation i.e. 2 3/4 turns of the driveshaft to 1 wheel rotation = 2.75 rear gears. This ain't working with my non posi 69 cuda. Either that or I have a 1.75 rear end (don't think so). What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Bud

Thanks for that video, I didn't realize you had to double the count for a non posi. So that means my gears are about 3.50+-.
