Rear end leak
OK, how do I get this to stop leaking? What are the steps I need to take and the parts I need to get??
I would appreciate any info! https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...56352574_o.jpg |
Need to remove the drive shaft. There is a procedure. You need to check it before taking it apart and see how many inch lbs it takes to turn the pinion . Then Remove the pinion nut and flange and replace the seal Bolt it back up & re torque in steps try to get the same in lbs reading you got before From the looks It probably needs a re build so
just replace the seal & re torque and hope for the best |
So does anyone know where to get this seal? I have been looking all over.

We need more info ! but looking for 62 Dodge 8 3/4 pinion seal ???
SKF18708 looks like a good prospect. When you get the old seal out there should be a number on it that can be crossed http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...m=370884808243 |
