Question Torque Converter Bolts - Alternative Replacements & Property Classes

Greetings!

I had a hard time removing the torque converter bolts in my 2000 Dodge Caravan Base (3.3L V6 41TE). The bolts were loctited in. During the removal process the heads become a little rounded. I think it'd be a good idea for me to replace them with new bolts.

The bolts that were in there had a 10.9 property class. The replacement bolts I see online at AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly's, and NAPA are all 9.8 property class - a weaker bolt.

Is it safe to use these bolts in place of the 10.9 property class bolts? It seems like this is a place where it might really make a difference.

Thanks for looking!!
Raymond

I called the dealer and ordered the four factory spec bolts. The dealership is a littler further away than I had wanted someone to drive me, but if the job's worth doing, I suppose it's worth doing right.

Thanks for the advice!
