About how much is a 727 transmission? Remanufactured?

Might depend on if you;re looking for standard or one with performance mods.
TCI has the perf ones for about $1500 "new". Most new perf mode's will be in the $1200 - 1500 range

You can get used ones and rebuilt one for less than half that through the classified, eBay, swap meets, etc.

Only thing is that trannys take a lot of abuse, so getting a used one may be a little iffy.
