Hahaha...transmission. Trying to determine what we have. Pretty sure it's an overdrive unit. It does have the two mounts for shifter.

Thanks. I went to some other site where you could type in the 4 digit number for a calculation of the 10000 day calendar. Got a weird year. But then I started thinking...for once....does that calendar just apply to engines. Anyhow...it sold today and the guy didn't seem to care that it probably is an overdrive unit. But I was wondering it's exact year.

Hmmm....using this I come up with 1966....same as the other site I used. Not sure what to think...only thing I can surmise is that the tailshaft has been changed out. That's the other number I posted. From what I've been able to find out so far is that the double shifter mounts didn't appear until 1970 and the overdrive with double mounts came along in 74.

Thanks...getting there. This tranny is out of the kids 73 Duster. It's been on the road but it still needs some bodywork and paint too. He decided he wants to replace it with the 727.
