1964 barracuda brakes
hi guys, my barracuda has all drum brakes on it which make sense, but i;ve come accross several conversion sets to disk brakes, is it worth it? Also, would anyone happen to know where i could go to get the frame straightened?

I have a 66 cuda and hell yes convert them i have had two with drums, converted them both makes a world of differance. There are several kits i used SSBC it was easy swap [must have 10 inch drums i think] so the spindle will work. There other model mopars that you can swap the spindles/upper a arm ect also [i'm unsure of what models]. Check your local body shops for the frame straightining.

Just the front, the rear on a non formula s cuda is a 7 1/4 there is no conversion for them i'm sure some one has pieced one togeather but i left mine drums. Again your car must have 10 inch drums on the front to use the conversion kits, they use the exsisting spindles if you have 9 inch you have to change spindles in that case i would find out what you need for a donor and go searching junk yards.

Get a full service manual. The reprint I got from Bishko has every frame dimension in it. Armed with this and a shop with a modern machine could do the work properly. I'd hate to here that some old guy did it by eye "cause he's done it before". Ask them first how they want the car brought in so if there is disassembly to do you could DIY and save a couple of bucks.
SSBC for sure.
SSBC for sure.
