1965 Fury III Booster Master Cylinder Adjusting Rod


Can someone please let me know if these look like the correct rod, washer and washer orientation? This is the rod that goes in the brake booster to the master cylinder. I haven't been able to find any detailed pictures or diagrams on the web.


I have been having problems with my brakes tightening up after I drive a while. So far I have replaced all the rubber lines, wheel cylinders and rebuilt the master cylinder, all have helped a lot. I was pretty sure I had clearance in the rod and the wheels turned freely after bleeding and adjusting but, after I drove it a while (10 miles) I can jack up the front and the wheels were a little tight. After loosening the nuts on the master cylinder the wheels loosened up which tells me I still need more clearance. However I recently acquired this car about 6 months ago and the brakes have always been an issue and I have found a lot of other "rigged" things on the car and want to make sure this is not another one.
