1969 dodge dart rear brake drums
My brake drums are done on my 69 dart
they will not cut them anymore too thin. try finding 10" drums with a small bolt pattern.
Found 2 drums from a valiant 72 or 3
the rear drums are exactly the same 10" same width same same bolt pattern and plenty of meat. but these drums have some sort of heat disapation added to them. they look like a german helmet. they fit on the axles but go past the brake mounting plates about an inch.
Does anyone see a problem using these..... the wheels fit on no problem.

They are meant for a wider brake shoe If you get the matching 72 ? backing plates and swap it should work. Are you sure your drums are 10' some had 9" drums. 10X2.5 is the most common size for B&E& some C and later A
Auto zone lists as 9x2"

Hey TV Nope the 69 has 10" brakes stock, the pads are 10 x 1.75 inches wide.
The six cylinder models I think had the 9" brakes.
the brake drum surface currently on the car are like 2" wide so are these other drums dead nuts match measurement wise except for the german helmet look and how they fit over the Brake plate.
