I am looking to build a Dakota race truck and want to put a Dana 60 under the rear end which one is best to use the 9 3/4 or the 8 3/4? Any advice or help be appreciated thank you added I am planning on putting a 400 stroker to 451 in it .was thinking about a race 727 torq

 

It depends on how much power you have and transmission, manual or automatic but if you have 500hp and an automatic a 8 3/4 would be my preference.
