Frame alignment
I need to align the frame of my Fargo Panel 1947. I would like to know if it is recommended to use heat or not.
Thank you https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...ecafbe0112.jpg |
Depends on what area you’re looking to bend…

Frame machine. It's worth doing it right.

Thanks for answering. I have used the frame machine. The problem is that the frame returns to its initial position once I remove the machine. That is the reason why I am asking if it is possible to use heat.

You can use heat but you might need to give it more pull, generally it takes as much pull in the opposite direction to get the metal to center where you need it.
But to your question the frame should be a mild steel not tempered so heat should not be a problem… |

I Agree with the heat it and pull it...... I would not suggest Chilling the rail with water.... But just let it air cool after heating... Good Luck... Keep us posted how it comes out.. :) Cheers
