Master cylinder and booster install question
I am getting ready to install all new brakes befor I drop in the new motor.
1968 Chrysler Newport. 1st question is; do I bench bleed the cylinder alone or as a unit with the booster. 2nd question; Do I need to do anything with the push rod from the booster, such as adjust it or, pull it out some, or just bolt 'em together? Thanx in advance. |

Bench bleeding is a must or you will not have a brake pedal,i would measure the length of the rod and be sure it is very close to the inside of the m/c.when installed.then you can install in one peice. Then bleed each wheel cylinder starting with the wheel furthest from the m/c
