Rear brake question

I recently replaced the shoes of the rear drums. With normal use everything seems to work fine. However, the right rear brake seems to block quickly with a somewhat more abrupt braking (raining conditions). However, after releasing the brakes, it does not block. Even after longer driving you notice that the brakes bit more bite.

What could be the cause of it?

Thanks!

Alex

I'd first look at adjustment.

There is a primary and secondary brake shoe, if you get them mixed up sometimes that wheel will not work properly.

The adjustment wheel doesn't look great. But maybe it could be something else.
I am convinced that I have replaced the primary and secondary. One piece at a time.

The short shoe should be on the front side or the leading side.

I would remove drums and adjust out by hand so they slide on with the same resistance then take it for a drive. If the star wheel and adjusting lever are worn take a file to them to square up and sharpen them.

Thanks! I would remove the drums and file the star wheels and check the fitting of the shoes.

I did replace the adjustment and spring setup on both sides. The adjustment screw-lever seems working better. But I notice that pressing the right drum on the shoes does take some effort. This was easily done on the left side.
After some driving and hard braking the right wheel slips.
Would be the right wheel cylinder need to be replaced?

Is it leaking fluid at this point?

No leakage anywere only lot of dust
