1966 Dodge monaco CONV Canadian ver wiring diagram

Hello all

I have just inherited from my father a 66 Monaco 383 convertible

I'm in the process of converting over the ignition to electronic.
I found a wiring diagram for the 66 Monaco/polara's online. BUT it does not fully match this car.
My car is all original and no wiring has been changed or modified.

The online wiring diagram I found for the 66 Monaco/polar shows 1 wire connected to each side of the coil and the condenser is located inside the distributor.

My car has 2 wires connected to each side of the coil and the condenser is mounted to the engine block next to the coil. The condensor is wired to the positive side of the coil. the other positive wire goes to the ballast resistor.
The negative side of the coil has a black wire going to the distributor and a GREEN wire going through the firewall to ??????(TACH MAYBE?)

Again this car has not been modified, we have owned it since new.

1. Anyone know what this green wire might be, I will try to trace it tonight under the dash.

2. Is there a different wiring diagram for the Canadian version of the 66 Monaco convertible VS the US version of the Monaco.

I just want to make sure I have the correct wiring diagram for the car before I add this kit.

Any info would be great. Working on these old cars is new to me so Im learning as I go.

thanks
