66 holley 1920 carb attachment needed desperately
HELP! I desperately need this part! Its hard to find. I don't need the whole carburetor just this attachment socket (circled)
I Cant test out my new brakes until I get this part. The car is not safe without this attachment. I'm not even sure if it can be removed. I may need the whole carburetor. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...a2066b24db.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...01e9e4926c.jpg |
Why not just get 2 rubber bushings and cut a piece of tubing and install that and be done with it?

If the metal U channel is missing, bend a piece, drill some holes and be done.

It might help if you said which carter bbs to look for. there are a lot of different models. I tried following your advice. There are exactly zero bbs carbs on E-bay for anything newer than "61. And every one of them are sold as parts only. In other words, junk. Will one listed as being for a late '59s to early '60s 225 work on a '73?

Thus, I'm a piece new to this and experiencing some difficulty tracking down the right data to supplant my Holley 1920 Carb. Kindly reason any dumb inquiries ahead of time, and gratitude for your assistance. I have a 65 Brave, incline 6 (yet it initially had a 8 in there).

Did you ever solve your issue with the carb and linkage????
