After changing my starter, I still have that "click click" sound. Even though i replaced battery, alternator and regulator. I'm reaching my boiling point...rawr...idk wat to look for. ONly part i didnt change was starter solenoid. for instance, when i start my car w my lights on, there aint no power. so i had to shut off the lights and start. U guys think it might be ignition switch????

 

The starter solenoid is incorporated within the starter itself. The starter relay turns the solenoid on to kick the starter gear out and spin the starter. Sounds like maybe a bad battery cable with not enough power to engage the starter. Check your battery voltage while someone else is trying to start it.
