Double Groove Overdrive Alternator Pulley?
My '69 RR has a March V-Drive pulley setup with all double groove pulleys except for the alternator which has a single groove underdrive pulley
Since it's an underdrive, the alternator doesn't start charging until it hits 2000+ rpm's
I'd like to swap it out with a double groove pulley, but also want to know if there's a smaller than stock overdrive pulley available
I'm a bit of a gadget freak and will benefit from having as much juice on tap at idle as possible

Stock there is actually two pulleys for the altenator. A smaller one and a bigger one. They come as either single or double groove.
Uh probably a stupid question but what type of alternator do you have? Note a picture might help if possible. I noticed that you have billet aluminum pulleys with a single belt so the single v belt pulley will probably work. Spacing might be an issue though.

Looks like a regular old Chrysler alt to me
The H20 pump pulley is a double and I'm pretty sure the crank is as well (I'll find out for sure in the morning)
Had the same charging problem in my 440 Drag Boat cause it came with a HUGE underdrive pulley
But a fresh rebuilt alt with a standard pulley fixed that

okay its a polished alternator. Uhm a stock single pulley will work but from the looks of the way its mounted you may have an alignment problem as the stock pulley is closer to the alternator than the one you have on it.
If memory serves your alternator is mounted wrong. If you look at the bottom bracket you will notice that it is not aligned straight because the top of the alternator actually goes outside the upper bracket and not inside the bracket, a common mistake, Chances are someone put washers against the block or alternator to make up the missing space, or not and bent the upper bracket a bit. The long tube that goes from the block to the alternator has been either cut or someone removed the small tube from the alternator itself.
Seen way to much of this over the years sigh.

I cannot tell, but it appears that your alternator MAY have a nut on the shaft which is not "normal" for Mopar alternators. Someone "came up" with one of these in a photo some time ago. This may complicate your search, as the "normal" pressed on pulleys won't fit.

Crank and H2O pump pulleys are double, so all I really need is a double alt pulley and a fresh pair of belts
The pulley on the alternator appears to be a normal press on, not bolt on.
Anyone have a part number for the smaller sized double alt pulley?
