it seems that every time i turn on my wipers they only have one speed high. and won't turn off until the car sits for a few min. then they will stay off. any ideas on where the problem may be?

 

i would start with the switch sounds like that to me, but it could also be some other things

1. switch
2. cross circuit
3. check the ground, the rocker switches suck w/o a good ground(some of them ground right to the metal on the dash. if it three speed should have a resistor on it) check the ground usually without a good one your wipers will do the funky chicken!

check those and tell us what happens dude!
