64 Sport Fury Trim Polish Q>
 
Asking for friend, he has sport fury trim, 1964, that needs redone. Anybody have idea of the swirls markings in the center?? I say there machined in, he thinks it is tape ??? Trying to de-anodize the trim and polish Thanks

Did you know you can remove anodizing with oven cleaner?

Yes. Actually worried about the swirl markings in the trim. I have photos I can text, cannot upload here cause don't kno how

I doubt it's a decal but an aluminium overlay.
