Coolant leak inside interior?

Hi guys,

I have had my car, a '72 dodge coronet, in storage for the winter this year. Got it out last weak, and i found a little pool of liquid on the passenger side floor. I think it was coolant. Could this have come out of the heating?

regards. Willem

If it's coolant it's probably from the heater core, now you can try radiator sealer like Bars leak silver seal or copper seal but usually it means heater core replacement.

Thanks Iowan, i'll get right on it.
Since we are on the subject anyway, does removing the heater box mean that the das hash to come out as well?

regards. Willem

Forget about my last question, i managed to get it out (fairly easily) without taking the dash out. Broke off a few bolts though :(

Well..... She is old.... A few broken bolts are kind of expected... :)

too late now ! . sometimes if the heater hose at the firewall is not tight it could leak int the cabin

Heater Core. Address it immediately before you do damage to your interior.
