Dodge Charger Front Wing does not fit ...Help ???
 

Hy all ..

first of all , i want to introduce myself shortly.. I am from Germany and driving since 15 years a Chevy Pickup , currently i am looking for my dream muscle car a Dodge Charger ...

Therefore i hope to get some help , because at the Moment i do have reasonable offer here in Great Britain. The car is unfortunately quite far away from my place, so i just got some informations and pics of the dealer..

So far everything Looks nice, there is just one bigger issue .....the front wing (Driver side). The Fender ist not Fitting well on the bottom, Details pls see on the attached pic...
The dealer gave me the Information that the door and pillar Looks good...
Therefore i am wondering why the Fender is Fitting that bad to the car... ????

So pls let me know if this is a common Problem at chargers and can be fixed ??

First welcome.

The wing (or fender) is mounted in that location with shims (washers or "U" plates), and there just may be too many. Look under the car and see what's there. Adjust as necessary.
Unfortunately, the most likely cause was twisting of the front sub frame due to an accident. If that's the case, you may still be able to make it look better with adding or removing shims, but ultimately the sub frame may have to be straightened.

thats also my concern ...because the rest of the car Looks pretty good and all parts have a good clearance, except this Fender !!!

I will give the dealer a call the next days ....also i will get some more pics and a Video of the car ..

We will see... after i got more informations, i will come back here..
