Tail Lights, Headlights & Fog Lights Upgrade
 

i bought a car that the last owner had upgraded the oem headlights. the idea for the look was right but are 300c lights and the car is a 300 touring. so headlights look a little silly. he also put in a black mesh grill and 20" black rims. i want complete the black out theme with the following items.

• Spyder® - Black LED Tail Lights
• Spyder® - Black Halo Projector Headlights with LEDs
• Spyder® - Clear Halo Projector Fog Lights

do you think it will look good? also not going with smoke lenses since it is a grey area and cops harass u about it where i live.

my question is basically are the local body shops quoting me a good price to pull bumper and bolt in the fog and headlights? id do it myself but i blew out my back few years ago and was paralyzed. i had surgery and trained myself to walk agian. the problem is i have a permanent 5# lifting restrictions. but anyways local shops are quoting 110-250 and was wondering if they are fair prices.

Sorry, not ignoring you. I simply have no idea. This kind of thing is way out of my bag. Shop rates vary widely around the country as well

As far's I'm concerned, "smoke" or other darkened lenses are and should be illegal. I would want to be certain whatever you do is using DOT components. Many aftermarket headlights are not. If you were EVER involved in an accident in which that might be a factor, a lawyer for the "other side" could use it against you

Sounds fair for 3-4 hours work... Personally I think it is a waste of money !!!!! I DON'T like LED'S

Definitely open yourself to all kinds of liability if using illegal equip. So really good your not planning on it! Lawyers love to make money.

As far as price to do the work, it does vary around the country but actually seems pretty good compared to quality shops here in Maine. I'm sure I could get it cheaper from some backyard shop but the car may never be the same! LOL! Good luck!

i meant im not getting smoked lenses. the lenses are clear but inside instead of chromed plastic it has black, except where it needs a reflector. the lights use a projector lens so it lights the rode better. i live in a suburb of decent size city that wastes it money. last year to save budget cost they turned off all the streetlights in the city. thhey on now but i live in a rural part town with very poor lighting even at intersections. soo the better i make headlights work the safer they are. and the spider models i chose only have accent led halo rings and 3 single leds for atectics. infact i believe they are 50 state legal.

i forgot to mention it has 20" rims on it when i bought it. if i had gotten rims i would went with a 17-18 rim. but since they on there and part the car theme i might as well keep them

There is no sidewall with a 20" tire.. The flex of the tire is part of the suspension

beleve me i know. actly something i fear is hitinng a pot hole n busting rim or suspension
