440 in a 1969 dart???

Who has done it and what issues will I need to address? It is a GT convertible 273ci model pretty much stock at this point.

Schumacher Creative is whom you should talk to. I have one in my 68 Dart. Big problems with power steering, power brakes and room in front of the water pump. Close to the radiator. But once you overcome some obstacles there is nothing like it.

well no power brakes and have already converted to electric fan. I did figgure the steering would be a MF how did they overcome that issue? were picking up the engine tomorrow.

i dont know how different they are but my brother did a swap in a dart swinger think it was a 75
the motor dropped right in used the same mounts locations as the original 318
he has to use manual brake set up but i think he used the power steering set up

yeah , we spent the day cutting the front end off the winnebago. did some measuring when we got back. it looks like it may be close to a plug and play. even mounts and exhaust with the power steering. may have to flatten the down pipe a bit but we'll see that tomorrow... I'm EXHAUSTEd
