65 dart gt torsion bars

Any one know a easy way to install the torsion bars on by 65 dodge dart.
I have access to a machine and weld shop. Been thinking I may be able to fabricate a large c clamp type tool with a large fork on one side to assist in installing these may my head hurt bars. Any suggestion would be welcome. Its my first time with torsion bars.

the bars have a bolt that puts pressure on the bar to hold the car up. you MUST back that screw off first, the car must be held up with jack stands first but DO clean the threads or they might strip. i think the bar slides out he back. there may be a keeper in the socket at the rear. chrysler has a tool that bolts to the bar hit it with a hammer to drive the bar back. i may not have all the info you need here. my friends here will be able to add more. added info. each bar has a front and rear and the left is different than the right. and the bars are made for the car weight. so a heaver car will have a bar of a larger diameter. and a high performance car will have a bigger dia bar. like my 1965 chrysler 300 L had bigger dia bar than a new yorker. may people put a 6 cyl bar for racing. the idea was the lighter bar will let it life on the staring line to get more weight transfer. i just found my 67 dart factory service manual. i starting to look at it. i might post a new post in a little bit.
