Either looking for a 4bbl intake (orig on commando) or does someone know where I can get a nice rebuild-able 340 block with standard bore???

Found a 4bbl intake Weiand #8007. Someone said it would fit nice on my 67 273 ci V8. Will it??? Is a Holley 600 too much for the small block 273?

 

Yes, the motor has been rebuilt. Pushrods upgraded, stock cam, .020 over bores, 9.5:1. runs like a fine tuned clock. Would like to 4bbl it though.. Do you have any ideas? Thought about the Holley (weiand) 8007 intake.. but what 4 bbl carb? would like to stay with Holley.

Just would like to have a little more umph.. not anything crazy.

Had thought about getting that new 340 block from mopar and doing a new stock version of the old 68 340ci. But then I would probably have to do something with the Trans and diff.. Dont know if I want to go that far..

Give me some input if you have any for this situation.

I'll keep the orig motor.. Just think I want a 340 under the hood for now. Need Power. Car looks good just has no *****!!
