so i was surfing my local craigslist and came across someone who was selling a 1973 duster with the slant6. he was also willing to trade for small SUV 1997 or newer. Well right now i currently own a 1999 Isuzu Amigo, and am considering this... Is there anything i should look for on this year?

LOOKS like a decent car .... but 5.5 k$ ?? .... that is a stretch !! But what is it worth to you ?

 

we bought the Amigo for about the same price as what the Duster is going for. We bought the Amigo back in Feburary with only 60k miles. Im going to call him Tuesday after all the labor day stuff is done with and see what the "little work" is and then go from there

 

he's since dropped the price to an even $5000 callin him tomorrow since today was labor day and had cook outs all weekend

 

Be patient ... he will drop-it further.

 

i think $5000 is the lowest he's going to go there was another ad today same price, but he said he really needs it gone

 

so talked to the guy today and the only things it needs are front shocks... and there are 3 little quarter sized rust spots. the paint is new he bought it after it had been painted, but could use so touch up, kinda streaKY. oh that black stripe, thats been removed, and the interior is brand new, it didnt have seats when he bought it.

 

KEEP us posted ..... he really needs it gone ? .. sounds to me like he might be becoming more MOTIVATED.

 

yeah he asked to see what my SUV looked like so i sent him a picture of it. He said he would settle for a 2door but is really looking for a 4door. mine is only a 2door but the back seat has tons of room im 6'4'' and my brother is bout 6'2'' and when he rides back there he has no problem at all... so *crosses fingers*
