Dual Exhaust on a 318 Dart Swinger

Would you Guys put dual Exhaust on a matching #'72 Swinger?, I like the look of duals and also the added Hp.?? see my photos, ???. Would it hurt the resale value?

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but it kinda depends on the engine (ci and mods) and exactly how original you want to keep it. Original usually sells for more than modified, unless they are some really cool mods...

Doing it shouldn't be a big deal for a good muffler shop that does custom exhausts.

I would put it on. If you have a 72 swinger that did not originally come with dual exhaust I am assuming the engine is a 318. A 340 car would have come with dual exhaust. If the car is completely cherry like super low mileage never been worked on then I might leave it stock as an unmolested survivor car. Those survivor cars are really rare though..If it has normal up keep for a 38 year old car and is a good driver then I would go ahead put the duals on. You will pick a few horsepower and the sound will be better. If it really worries you , you could always just take the original exhaust out and store it away..Then you could have the new dual exhaust built up. It wont really effect the resale value up or down. It might make it easier to sell.
