so i was taken the back seat out curious to if i had one and someone did not take it out and there it was in such great shape my build sheet. I know my Dart is the 260,342 car built that year but i have a couple questions like

What is the sequence number? and why would they take a crayon and write 23 in the middle of it? But i do know my car is factory A/C now

 

I just found mine this afternoon by taking the top half of the back seat out. It has a small piece of the bottom left corner missing ,Mine also has a 23 in grease pencil written on it. A great Christmas Present!!

 

Sweet congrats man! yeah by having this sheet it tells us exactly what this car had originally to make them like it was when new.

 

How do you get that? I mean how/where to find out our cars' build sheet? Is there a website or an organization that we cantact by giving our VIN maybe?

what you can do nowa days is go on google and look up a mopar vin decoder and it will tell you everything about the car, where it was made and what options it originally had what model it was. the vin tells everything the build sheet tells you the numbers of what parts where on the car. maybe someone can clarify with more knowledge about this subject.

 

I thot the VIN only tells you what body type, what motor, and where it was built. The "fender tag" is the one telling you what color is the interior, whats the original body paint color, what options the car had etc. ? Correct me if im wrong.
