are in interested in stock?
it is not stock, but edelbrock is modeled after the original carb
it all comes down to preference
for street driving; without wanting to go through a lot of tuning, i'd go with an edelbrock

Its a 225 slant 6 engine so unless i go with a 2 barrel Holley is out of the question which brings me to another question what should I run 2 or 4 barrel? Let me know what you guys think I am using it for street use car shows but enventually Id like to take it to the strip.

Cheers,
Lorenzo

slant six why cant you go with a holley? holley has a 390 cfm 4bbl that would work better than a 500cfm on a six or a holley 470cfm

Put a 4 bbl on it. BUT, my REAL opinion on it would be 1) put a big block in, or 2) Slap a turbo on and youre set

my slant is completely built and i'm running a carter/edelbrock 500 and it's almost at the point of being overfed. on an engine with stock internals, the 390 holley will work but is a tad much (had one before i tore into the engine).

unless you're camming it, best and cheapest bet is to find a factory 2bbl manifold and replacement carb. with the 2bbl you wont have to get headers. a 4bbl alone is like going to a pancake eating contest when you're constipated...
